For Spring 2023, he is bringing the other half to an exclusive new Levi’s® & Born X Raised capsule collection.

Every May, we celebrate the anniversary of Levi’s® first-ever blue jeans. But this May is something special. This May, the most iconic denim in the world turns 150 years old. It’s our 501® Sesquicentennial (dare you to say that one time fast). Now that’s cause to party.

Levi’s® and JJJJound introduce their first collaborative collection for Spring 2023, launching worldwide on May 5th, 2023. Drawing inspiration from the ethos of both brands, the capsule integrates Levi’s® denim with JJJJound’s minimalistic design approach.  

Levi’s® and NIGO return with a new collaboration for Spring / Summer 2023. A pioneer of Japanese streetwear & denim afficionado, NIGO has spent decades sourcing rare vintage Levi’s® and has accumulated one of the most expansive personal collections in the world. In our 3rd installment with the HUMAN MADE founder, we worked with NIGO to reimagine his favorite archival pieces for a two-piece range that is inspired by the past & recreated for the present.

Born from the Southern California surf scene in the late 80’s and early 90’s, Stüssy has swept through the clothing landscape to redefine the look & ideology of casual-wear. What started as a form of promotion - screening t-shirts & shorts to sell alongside surfboards – grew organically from youth movements & inadvertently revolutionized the apparel business. Since its inception, the brand’s designs & overall aesthetic have touched on references from a range of underground subcultures – an approach that has appealed to a worldwide network of creative youth who share a common interest in surf-culture, skateboarding, & music.

Actor Barbie Ferreira had a vision for this collaboration. “The vibe was glitchy and surreal […] I wanted it to look like we were wearing the jeans in a cool spy movie.” So when the end result was a collection filled with geometric graphics, glitchy overlays, and early 00s retro-futurism we were not surprised in the least. For Emma Chamberlain, vintage denim is more than just an avenue to great personal style. “I think that buying high quality denim is an incredible investment,” she says. “Not only will it serve you its whole life, it’ll also serve the next person, and the next person, and the next person.” Basically, as Emma likes to point out, vintage denim is one of the easiest paths to sustainability in fashion. Plus, it looks really cool.

Building on the first collaborative release from last season, Levi’s® & AMBUSH® return with a new moto-inspired collection for Spring/Summer 2023. The second installment dives further into AMBUSH®’s idiosyncratic style, using Levi’s® denim as a canvas. The two-piece range features a denim jacket & matching jean, modified with unique detailing that draws influence from motorcycle & biker culture.

The ’90s called and we answered with a color-popping collab featuring vintage experts 194 Local and our legendary SilverTab™.

Levi’s® has partnered with Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER on a hybrid collection that brings the designer’s signature aesthetic to vintage Levi’s® denim. Featuring 6 reconstructed pieces that perfectly blend Japanese & American materials, construction, and style.
